The official notification provides the revised schedule for the 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I). Candidates who applied for these 2569 vacancies can now access the link to view their exam city and date. The e-call letters will be available for download shortly before the exam.

The Railway Recruitment Boards have officially activated the link for viewing the Exam City & Date. This link also allows SC/ST candidates to download their Travel Authority. A significant update in this notice is the Revised Exam Schedule for the first stage of the recruitment process. Candidates must undergo Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication at the exam center, so it is mandatory to bring original Aadhaar cards.

Eligibility Criteria

Junior Engineer (JE): Three years Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering streams (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, etc.).

Vacancy Details
A total of 2569 vacancies are notified across various Railway Recruitment Boards for the posts of Junior Engineer, DMS, and CMA.
Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of four major stages:

1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I): Screening nature, 100 questions, 90 minutes.

2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II): Final merit calculation, 150 questions, 120 minutes.

Document Verification (DV): Based on CBT-II performance.

Medical Examination (ME): To ensure fitness for Level 6 posts.
Note: There is a negative marking of 1/3rd mark for every wrong answer in both CBT stages.
Instructions to Candidates

Mandatory Aadhaar: Biometric authentication will be done at the center. Bring your original Aadhaar card.

Aadhaar Status: Ensure your Aadhaar is in an “unlocked” condition in the UIDAI system.

Banned Items: Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, calculators, pens, pencils, and belts are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall. A pen will be provided by the board.

Reporting: Reporting time will be mentioned in your e-call letter. No candidate will be allowed entry after gate closing.

Find the link labeled “City Intimation Slip for CEN 05/2025”.

Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth/Password.

View your assigned Exam City and the date of your exam.

Return to the website 4 days before your exam date to download the full E-Call Letter (Admit Card).

Print the admit card on A4 paper and carry it to the center along with an original Photo ID.
