Main Notice Details
The Indian Army is inviting applications for the 124th Course of the NCC Special Entry Scheme. This scheme is designed for NCC ‘C’ certificate holders and wards of battle casualties to join as officers under the Short Service Commission (NT). Training for the selected candidates will take place at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality: Citizen of India, subject of Nepal, or persons of Indian origin migrated from specific countries with the intention of settling in India (as per detailed govt. rules).
2. Educational Qualification:

For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders: Degree from a recognized university with an aggregate of minimum 50% marks.

Final Year Students: Candidates in the final year are allowed to apply, provided they have scored at least 50% in the first two/three years and complete the degree before the course starts.

For Wards of Battle Casualties: Degree from a recognized university with minimum 50% aggregate marks. (NCC ‘C’ certificate is NOT required for this category).
3. NCC ‘C’ Certificate Requirements:

Must have served for a minimum of 2-3 years in the Senior Division/Wing of NCC.

Must have obtained a minimum of a ‘B’ Grade in the NCC ‘C’ Certificate Exam.

Salary and Benefits

Rank on Commissioning: Lieutenant.

Stipend during Training: ₹56,100 per month (Level 10).

Additional Benefits: Military Service Pay (MSP) of ₹15,500 pm, Dearness Allowance, Kit Maintenance Allowance, and various field area allowances depending on the posting.
Selection Process

Shortlisting of Applications: Based on graduation marks and bonus marks awarded for NCC ‘C’ certificate performance (Grade A: 50 marks, Grade B: 25 marks).

SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a two-stage selection process at Selection Centres (Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar).

Marital Status: Only unmarried candidates are eligible. Candidates must not marry during training.

Single Application: Candidates can appear for only ONE SSB interview (either through CDSE or NCC Spl Entry).

Documentation: Candidates must carry original documents (Degree, Marksheets, NCC Certificate, etc.) to the SSB interview. DIGILOCKER certificates will NOT be accepted.
