Application Fee

Candidates must pay the fee through online modes only (Internet Banking, Debit/Credit Cards, or UPI).

Note: EBC (Economically Backward Class) refers to candidates with family income less than Rs. 50,000/- per annum.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed:

• 10th Standard (Matriculation) OR

• ITI from institutions recognized by NCVT/SCVT OR

• National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

Note: Candidates awaiting final results are NOT eligible to apply.

Medical Standards:

Selection Process

The selection process involves the following stages:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Single stage (Railway reserves the right to conduct multi-stage if needed).

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Mandatory for all except PwBD and CCAA candidates.

3. Document Verification (DV): Based on CBT merit and PET qualification.

4. Medical Examination (ME): To ensure fitness for the opted post.

CBT Exam Pattern (100 Marks, 90 Minutes):

• Live Photo: Candidates must capture a live photo during the application. Wearing caps, masks, or glasses is prohibited during capture.

• Signature: Must be in running handwriting. Block/Capital letters will be rejected. Use a black ink pen on white paper.

• Modification: A modification fee of Rs. 250/- is charged for changing details (except “Create an Account” data and chosen RRB).

• Negative Marking: Be careful while answering in CBT as 1/3 mark is deducted for each error.
